In-person Initial Screening Appointment

A non-refundable $150 Initial Screening Appointment is required for new students seeking to book any of Ms. Ellen’s services. She recommends going to Mindful Youth LLC’s Contact page and filling out the contact form before booking a screening appointment. All participating families must be able to pay private rates. None of the services offered by Mindful Youth LLC are covered by any insurance or other reimbursement program. After the initial appointment, based on family preferences, Ms. Ellen will create a recurring schedule of services and bill families These in-person appointments are located in the San Francisco Bay area, California.

IN-PERSON RATES

The small group and individual cost for in-person tutoring is $75-$150 per week. In-person services and events led by Ms. Ellen are available on weekdays and weekends. Ms. Ellen is triple-Pfizer vaccinated and bivalent boosted against COVID-19.

PRICE SHARING

Price sharing reduces the cost of special academic instruction via a small group format. The two-student format is the most popular starting point. Price-sharing is billed in advance per semester and must be received in full before the first session. Maximum class size of sessions are determined by the level of student instructional needs. Cost per family for 2+ students is $75 per week.

SFBA SOCIAL SKILLS PROGRAMS

Ms. Ellen’s social skills programs serve students from any schools in SFBA and are designed primarily for upper elementary students and tweens, although she does serve some high school and college students. These private programs are designed to stretch students socially where they need it most and prepare them for larger in-person social events. MINDFULNESS EVENTS

All of Mindful Youth LLC’s programs integrate mindfulness. To book only private mindfulness meditation lessons ($50 per class; $500 per 1:1 series) throughout the year, book an initial screening appointment on this page. A low-cost remote video option has been paused indefinitely pending national AI regulation. Thank you to President Biden for his executive order and Bill of Rights regarding AI, which Ms. Ellen hopes Congress with mirror with national legistation to protect human workers.

RESCHEDULE OR CANCEL

Contact Ms. Ellen directly at mindfulyouth@comcast.net to cancel or reschedule sessions. A maximum of two lessons can be rescheduled per 15-lesson series during Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. Large group events are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled due to logistical challenges.
