    I am authorized by the State of California to formally assess and teach students with mild/moderate disabilities, including all Autism Spectrum Disorders, grades K through college (up to age 22). I am also authorized to teach English Learners.

Ellen McCarty earned her undergraduate degree in broadcast journalism and her graduate degree in magazine publishing in four years via Northwestern University’s AMP (accelerated master’s program). Northwestern is ranked #6 best national university in the USA, tied with Duke University, Johns Hopkins University and the California Institute of Technology. She has communications experience as a public speaker and writer in more than 13 countries and a global citizen perspective that makes her instruction accessible, engaging and relevant for all audiences.
